Liu’s Oriental Medical Center, P.C. is a thriving, integrative health practice specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic therapies. We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our team.
Position Overview
As part of our clinic, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to a diverse patient population, working alongside acupuncturists, herbalists, and wellness professionals. You will have the opportunity to integrate your massage expertise with traditional healing modalities in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide massage therapy services tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with our integrative care team to support whole-body healing.
- Maintain accurate treatment notes and adhere to clinic policies.
- Participate in a culture of respect, learning, and growth.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Nebraska Massage Therapy License or be willing to obtain one before hire and be board-certified.
- Must carry own Malpractice insurance.
- Strong foundation in massage therapy techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, etc.); additional training in Asian bodywork, Tuina, Thai massage, or reflexology a plus.
- Commitment to patient-centered, holistic care.
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and reliability.

- Operational support, not employee benefits: Independent contractors are provided operational support such as scheduling assistance, front desk reception support, marketing exposure, referrals, use of clinic space, or discounts on herbs and supplements. These supports are considered perks and do not constitute employee benefits under employment law.
Education and License Requirements
- Completion of a state-approved massage therapy program ( 1000 hours of education in anatomy, physiology, pathology, massage techniques, and supervised clinical practice).
- Graduation from an accredited school of massage therapy.
- Current Nebraska Massage Therapy License in good standing, or eligibility and willingness to obtain Nebraska licensure prior to employment.
- National certification (NCBTMB) or additional training in Tuina, Thai massage, reflexology, or related bodywork is a plus but not required.
